Easter at Keelby Chapel

As we won’t be using our building for Easter this year we especially want to make a display to say we are all still active and worshipping even if in a different way. So . . .

Whether you are church family or the wider community we are inviting you to join us in making flowers to decorate the building for Easter. You could draw or colour a picture, get crafty with material or art resources. The display will be inside our glass doors and so doesn’t need to be weather-proof.

When complete you can drop them in our post box or pop them over when we are there for our next food collection. See below. Or get in touch via info@keelbyhealingchurch.co.uk and we can collect.

Here is an example of using the bottoms of plastic drinks bottles, which most of us have.

What will you be giving up for lent?

We’re not “giving up” we’re “giving out”.

Healing and Keelby Methodist Church are again supporting the worthwhile cause, Immingham Food Bank Collection.

We will have a car boot collection on Saturday 27th March at Healing Chapel 10.00am – 11.00am and at Keelby Chapel 10.00am – 10.30am.

All donations are appreciated but the items that CARE are in need of are: tinned meat e.g. stewing steak, chilli, curry, minced beef, tinned vegetables any type of coffee. Plus chocolate Easter treats for the children. Please pop something on your shopping list and pass it on to us.

REOPENING OF OUR BUILDINGS

Healing Chapel

Healing Chapel are hoping to open for worship from Easter Sunday 4th April and followed by services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. There will be a limited number of places available and seats must be prebooked through Elizabeth Ede by 6pm on the Saturday (Tel no: 01472 883625) evening prior to the service. The plan is dependent on Covid circumstances at the time and will be reviewed should circumstances change.

Keelby Chapel

The decision made is to plan for reopening after June 21st subject to the Government’s road map running to schedule and enough stewards and door stewards being available, so that all Covid safe practices can be put in place.

Sunday 27th December

No service broadcast today – instead either the VINE service in your own home and/or go for a walk (in past years we have done this as a group) and share your photos with us so that we can use them in our worship services giving thanks to God for our beautiful world. Sending them to Carols email address please.
