Our “Open for Coffee” charity for September is Macmillan Cancer Support and on Wednesday 26th September there will be additional cakes available for a donation.

Village Walk
You are invited to join us on a local footpath walk on Sunday Oct 21st at 2 pm. We will meet at Healing Methodist Church car park for a walk of about 3 miles. All welcome to join us.
This will be our annual charity walk and we invite you to make a donation towards WaterAid to provide clean water in underdeveloped countries
If you cannot walk that day we welcome your donation and if you do not wish to donate we still welcome you on the walk. If you want to do a bit more then get people to sponsor your walk.

The Edge Friendship Club
We meet every first Monday of the month at Keelby Methodist Church from 2.00 to 4.00pm. The cost will be £2.50 per session, which includes refreshment.
Our next meeting is on Monday 3rd September for “Making a Difference”a welcome return of Kathleen Bartlett, with an illustrated tale about a hippo, an orca and a hyena, who were orphaned in the wild and rescued by them.

Sunday Tea Bible Study
This group meets on a Sunday evening, once a month, from 5:30-7:30pm in the Edge and includes a light tea, followed by a short bible study suitable for all ages or bible knowledge. You are welcome to just turn up but if you could give us an indication if you are likely to come that would be really helpful. We will ask for a small donation of 50p towards refreshments, although you are of course welcome to bring your own if you’d prefer.
Our dates are Sunday 16th September, 21st October and 18th November. Hope you all like our scarecrows!
