The Edge Bible Study Group

We meet each Thursday at 10.30am, starting with a drink and chat about things in general ready to begin the work we are studying just a little later. At the present time we are reading the study book A lineage of Grace by Francine Rivers, which is about Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba and Mary, all who were the ancestors of Jesus.

We are all at different stages on our Christian journeys and our conversations are as varied as those of us who make up this group.

If you wish to join just turn up, you can be assured of a very warm welcome.

THE EDGE FRIENDSHIP CLUB

Come and join the friendship club, which meets up every first Monday of the month at Keelby Methodist Church from 2.00 to 4.00pm. The cost will be £2.50 per session, which includes refreshment. This month we will meet on Monday 4th June 2018.

Kitchen Chaos! – We welcome a return visit from Dr Katy Hewis as she presents us with a chemical muddle puzzle, which requires us to identify different baking ingredients using chemical tests and a smidgeon of logic. Fun guaranteed for all. This hands-on activity will emphasise the importance of analytical chemistry in our everyday lives.

Sunday Tea Bible Group – All Age

We are going to trial having a Sunday Tea bible study and fellowship time on a Sunday evening from 5:30-7:30pm

This will be in the Edge Coffee shop and will include toast and sandwiches for tea, followed by a short bible study suitable for all ages or bible knowledge.

Our first Sunday Tea will be on Sunday 13th May.  You are welcome to just turn up but if you could give Chris and Cheryl Hughes an indication if you are likely to come that would be really helpful.  We will ask for a small donation of 50p towards refreshments, although you are of course welcome to bring your own if you’d prefer.

Thanks Cheryl and Chris
