Keelby Santa Run

The Santa Run/Walk is a chance for our community spirit to shine as we gather to have fun around the village dressed as Santas in the run up to Christmas all in aid of Macmillan.

Entries for this event will close at 10am on Saturday 2nd December.Prices: Adult -£5, Child (2-16yrs) – £2.50, Under 2’s FREE

This event will start 1pm on the village green. Registration and collection of race numbers will be open from 12pm. (Please bring safety pins) The lovely Sharon Thomas will be starting the race with a fab Santa warm up!

All ages welcome! The route will be pushchair and wheelchair friendly. Dogs welcome on leads.

You may like to just wear a Santa hat or the full Santa outfit, entirely personal choice. All entrants will receive a medal and a mince pie at the finish line!

Keelby Community Engagement Meeting

A meeting of this group is to be held in the Sports Pavilion on Thursday 23rd November at 7.30pm.  The agenda will include – The Library and Village Green.

Village Walk

You are invited to a local footpath walk on Sunday Nov 12th at 2 pm. We will meet at Healing Methodist Church car park for a walk of about 3-4 miles.  All welcome to join us. Please contact Peter Ede 01472 883625 for further information.

THE EDGE FRIENDSHIP CLUB

Come and join the friendship club which meets up every First Monday of the Month at Keelby Methodist Church from 2.00 to 4.00pm. The cost will be £2.50 per session which includes refreshment.

This month we will meet on Monday 6th November – “Ready for Christmas?” Come and have fun in this practical session led by Marjorie and Liz. If you have any pretty buttons do bring them along.

Village Walk

You are invited to join us on a local footpath walk on Sunday Oct 15th at 2 pm. We will meet at HealingMethodist Church car park for a walk of about 3 miles. All welcome to join us.

This will be our annual charity walk and we invite you to make a donation towards WaterAid to provide clean water in underdeveloped countries

If you cannot walk that day we welcome your donation and if you do not wish to donate we still welcome you on the walk. If you want to do a bit more then get people to sponsor your walk.
